eReferrals
WMC is now using Ocean eReferrals! With improved technology, increasing issues with program and technology compatibility, environmental implications, and cost considerations, eReferrals are faster, more environmentally responsible, more secure, and more reliable, as they negate possible compatibility issues with various different technologies.
Additionally, the cost of Ocean eReferrals is covered by the Ontario eServices Program. While we do continue to accept fax referrals, they do have a longer processing time and carry the risk of delivery failure due to technology compatibility issues.

Patients, if you suffer from chronic pain, you may benefit from assessment or treatment by a chronic pain specialist. Talk to your doctor about whether this might be beneficial for you, as you require a referral from a healthcare provider.
