Myofascial Pain Syndrome
Myofascial pain refers to pain and inflammation in the muscles and soft tissues of the body.
This is a chronic pain that can exist either at the site of the original injury or as a “referred” pain elsewhere within the patient’s muscles because the condition affects the fascia, which is the connective tissue that covers the muscles themselves.
This referred pain is caused by the development of a trigger point at the original site of injury, which then causes pain elsewhere.
This disorder can develop due to chronic poor posture, and poor exercise technique which leads to injury to the muscle fibers, repetitive motions, and lack of activity due to a prior injury like a broken bone.

Trauma
Trauma refers to severe and body-altering physical injury or wound that can have debilitating effects on physical or psychological health.

Fibromyalgia
Despite millions of worldwide cases, fibromyalgia is still underdiagnosed and poorly understood.
Many patients who are eventually diagnosed with fibromyalgia struggle for years to identify the cause of their symptoms, and undergo dozens of tests and assessments before they are properly treated.
Part of the challenge is that there is currently no known specific cause for fibromyalgia.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ Syndrome)
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) affects the joints of the jaw bones on either side of the face, and/or nearby structures, including cartilage, adjacent connective tissue, ligaments, nerves, blood vessels, teeth, and muscles of the face and neck.
Damage to these tissues results from various causes, such as teeth grinding and jaw muscle clenching (bruxism), osteoarthritis, misalignment of teeth, orthodontic braces, trauma, muscle strains, and even poor posture, poor diet, stress, and lack of sleep.
